 BE is your inside look of what’s is going on in the world of culture and diversity. We will provide you with links and resources we believe represent the best in diversity via websites, YouTube, blogs, and other outlets.   Some of the information we highlight may be hidden gems. Other information we want to reintroduce to you as a reminder as motivation and a stepping stone to enhance change.  BE provides this connection to information that will be a destination to upliftment.

National Center for Cultural Competence, the mission of the NCCC is to increase the capacity of health care and mental health care programs to design, implement, and evaluate culturally and linguistically competent service delivery systems to address growing diversity, persistent disparities, and to promote health and mental health equity. Diversity-Executive.com, an online community for diversity practitioners, is also the website for Diversity Executive  magazine. The site is active with blogs and posts discussing the latest diversity conferences, as well as interesting articles on diversity compliance, generational issues, and relevant current events.

Diversityweb.org is an online initiative of the Office of Diversity, Equity and Global Initiatives at the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). It focuses on issues related to diversity in higher education, and contains a significant amount of research on the impact of diversity in learning contexts. There is a sizeable repository of information that relates diversity in education to other aspects of society. 

DiversityWoman.com is the online presence for Diversity Woman magazine, and a terrific resource for women of all ethnic backgrounds. The site contains articles that provide useful career advice, insights from diversity practitioners, and cool information for professional women and entrepreneurs about gadgets and travel tips.

DiversityInc.com is a well-established web portal for the magazine DiversityInc, a leading diversity publication that deals with diversity challenges and solutions in the workplace, as well as diversity matters in society-at-large. The site includes career advice, information on corporate diversity initiatives, a job board, and current news.

Colorlines.com is the site for Colorlines, a magazine (published bi-monthly) that deals with issues related to race and politics. They are serious journalists that make excellent use of the online platform.  With a modern, elegant website, and interesting material, readers can find articles on the relationship between race and the economy, the arts, education, healthcare, and a wide variety of other issues.
